Resisting the Resistance

Even from the comfort of our homes, we have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these children. With the help of prayerful believers worldwide, we have begun construction of a children’s village in Lira, Uganda…a village free from the brutalities of war, a safe haven for these precious souls.

But we’re not recreating a social welfare system; we’re giving these children the skills they need to break the cycle of poverty in their lives. Each resident will learn farming trade skills—from working the land to harvesting, and from selling their food to becoming entrepreneurs in their own nation. We’ll help them put their best foot forward so they can step into a better tomorrow.

Ground has already been broken for this village and its water well. Twenty-nine children are ready to move in, and with your help, we soon anticipate having facilities to care for more than 100.

Your donation enables us to rescue children by cutting through governmental red tape, providing medical care and paying social service fees. It enables us to stock the homes with supplies, clothing, food and unconditional love so the children can experience true stability. And, as we grow, your support opens the way for us to expand the village to include a school, a medical clinic, a food hall, a community facility and more.
